St Joseph’s could be set to add one of the best GFNL forwards of the past decade in a mid-season recruiting coup.

Two-time premiership star Cam Tudor has been training with the unbeaten ladder leaders in recent weeks, with a decision expected in the coming days on whether he will add to his 104 games in red, gold and black.

A VFL player at Geelong and Werribee, and a regular interleague representative, he last played with Joeys in 2021 before joining Essendon and District club Greenvale.

Coach Ron Watt told krockfootball.live following Sunday’s win over Geelong West that Tudor’s presence has been welcomed at Drew Oval.

“He’s been fantastic at training; the knowledge he’s been passing onto the players,” Watt said.

“Even today, he was out amongst the huddle and talking to a few of the boys about different things.

“And he was standing just near me at the bench, and he’s got a really good insight into the game.”
