Geelong West has suffered a blow, with highlight reel Emmanuel Ajang headed for the SANFL.

The dynamic Ajang has signed with South Adelaide, which has also added St Joseph’s big man Oli Northam on a full-time basis.

The 23-year-old spent four seasons with the Giants, playing 46 games and kicking 28 goals.

Ajang also made 10 appearances with Werribee after making his VFL debut in 2022.

At Geelong West, he finished runner-up in the Giants’ best-and-fairest in 2021 and fourth in 2022.

“Emmanuel is clean with the ball in hand and brings versatility to our team,” South Adelaide football boss Brent Reilly said.

“His speed and ability to play up the field make him a valuable addition.

“We’re looking forward to seeing what he can do in 2025.”
