Gun Leopold midfielder Logan Wagener has entered the 21-day concussion protocol after suffering a delayed reaction to a head knock in the Easter Saturday loss to St Joseph’s at Lorne.

Coach Luke Kelly has confirmed to K rock Football that Wagener, despite being named for this week’s meeting with Colac at Memorial Park, will miss the clash with the Tigers, followed by match-ups with North Shore and Newtown & Chilwell.

It’s a further blow to Leopold, who will also be without Tom Feely (knee) and Brock Williamson (Geelong VFL).

In better news for the Polders, Will Sheahan is back from the Cats, while fellow premiership player Riley Stone has been promoted from the reserves.

Meanwhile, Will Howard will make his first senior appearance since 2022, and Charlie Alexander will debut.

The Tigers will be without playing co-coach Seb Ross (unavailable) and the suspended Jack Skinner.

There is also a question mark over the availability of Darcy Lang, who has taken a role with Geelong Grammar.

However, veteran Lachie Simpkin will make his first senior appearance of the season.

St Mary’s has made four forced changes ahead of its meeting with Newtown & Chilwell at Anthony Costa Oval.

North Melbourne VFL-listed Matt Keast is being managed, with veteran Jesse Travaglini, and youngsters Noah Biggs and Charlie Vallelonga facing extended stints on the sidelines.

Travaglini and Biggs are likely to miss four weeks with hamstring issues, while a rib problem will keep Vallelonga off the park until June.

The Eagles have lost GWS Giants VFL midfielder Perry Lewis-Smith to concussion, while Matty Lloyd will return to Sydney VFL duty.

Hardnut midfielder Liam Nash returns after missing the win over Bell Park, while Torquay recruit Archer Harkness will make his debut.

Bell Park has lost Steve Bensted and Eli Pearce to ankle injuries, but will welcome back Ben Lloyd and Jack McMahon for its meeting with North Shore at Windsor Park.

The final Dragons lineup is dependent on whether Jack Sarcevic and Osca Riccardi are required for Geelong VFL duty.

Grovedale will be boosted by the inclusion of veteran big man Ryan Abbott, co-captain Rory Quinn, and recruit Matthew Kreuger for its annual Spirit of the Anzacs clash with Lara at Bisinella Oval.

They replace omitted trio Tom Moloney, Sam Adams, and Jas Lang.

The Cats have lost recruit Majok Bol, and Taylan-Jay Trickey to injury, with Isaac Fulton-Grover and Cody Beckley dropped.
