Geelong will be without star forward Ollie Henry for tomorrow (Friday) afternoon’s Community Series meeting with Essendon at GMHBA Stadium.
Henry, who kicked 41 goals in his first season at the Cats in 2023 after crossing from Collingwood, has been sidelined as a precaution after suffering a rolled ankle.
In other selection news, Geelong has gone with Rhys Stanley as the lone ruck
The premiership big man shared duties with youngster Toby Conway in last week’s practice match win over Carlton.
However, the Cats have left Conway out of its 26-man team and named him as an emergency.
Young winger Mitch Knevitt, first-round draft pick Connor O’Sullivan and midfielder Brandan Parfitt also look set to play in the VFL clash with the Bombers.
Mature-age draftee Shaun Mannagh is the only uncapped player selected.
