Geelong have added four players to their list, while two Geelong Falcons have found their AFL homes on night two of the AFL draft.
Geelong selected South Australian midfielder Jay Polkinghoren with pick 44, following it up with another South Australian in ruckman Jacob Molier at pick 52.
Both picks were delayed by the Cats decision to bid on Brisbane key forward Ty Gallop at 42 and Carlton father-son Ben Camporeale at 43.
The Cats would have better luck with their next bid, drafting Sandringham defender Lennox Hofmann at 66, before rounding the night out with Western Jets forwards Keighton Matofai-Forbes at 69.
The night started for the region with Falcons best and fairest and national championship All-Australian Lachie Jaques being drafted to the Western Bulldogs with mthe 29th pick.
North Melbourne would also pick up a Falcon, with River Stevens – son of Kangaroo great Anthony – taken with pick 67 as a father son selection.
The drafting period continues tomorrow with the rookie draft.
