The Cats kicked four more goals in the second quarter, with the home team entering the main break without troubling the scorer.

Irish star Aishling Moloney kicked a career-high four goals, while veteran Shelley Scott and 50th-gamer Jackie Parry each contributed three majors.

With Georgie Prespaskis (quad) again sidelined, Nina Morrison stood out in the midfield with 26 disposals, seven clearances and seven marks.

Mikayla Bowen (25 disposals, six marks), Darcy Moloney (22 disposals, four clearances), and Becky Webster (21 disposals, five marks) were also critical.

The win boosted Geelong’s percentage to 132.1% and pulled Dan Lowther’s team to within two points of the top eight.
