MITCH Duncan will push his case for an Easter Monday return to the Geelong team when he makes his first appearance of 2021 in the Cats’ VFL practice match on Saturday.

Ongoing calf problems have slowed Duncan since the start of pre-season.

He is one of 15 AFL listed players named in the squad to take on Port Melbourne.

Josh Jenkins and Zach Guthrie, who were dropped from the Geelong team that lost to Adelaide last week, and fellow emergencies Quinton Narkle and Max Holmes have also been selected.

However, one of that quartet will be the medical substitute for Friday night’s AFL clash between the Cats and the Brisbane Lions.

11 VFL listed players are looking to impress against the Borough.

To be played at North Port Oval, the match starts at 12pm.
