A MATCH-UP between Geelong bookends Tom Hawkins and Mark Blicavs could be on the cards in next week’s State of Origin for Bushfire Relief match between the All-Stars and Victoria at Marvel Stadium.
The star duo are among four Cats among the 54 AFL players named for the match, with New South Welshman Hawkins joined in the All-Stars team by Irishman Zach Tuohy, while Blicavs and Patrick Dangerfield will pull on the Big V.
Both teams have announced teams of 27, with respective coaches Damien Hardwick (Victoria) and John Longmire (All-Stars) having access to nine-man benches for the match.
Richmond and GWS have the most players included, with six players each from last year’s grand finalists to be involved across the two teams.
