Since the news broke of Tina Turners passing yesterday, celebs and fans all around the world have taken to social media to post their tributes to the Queen of Rock and Roll.
The iconic singer sold more than 200 million albums and won eight Grammy Awards over career, she rose to fame in the 60s as the front lady of the Ike & Tina Turner Revue. She spent more than 60 years of her life in the limelight after her breakthrough album Private Dancer launched her to superstardom at age 44.
Some of the tributes have come from fellow artists such as Lizzo and Coldplay performing Tina’s songs at their concerts, musicians posting talking about their favourite memories with Tina, to TV personalities and former presidents and first ladies posting their tributes.
